Welcome to Sophie's Dog Bakery and Boutique! Sophie is our little red Doxie, and she and her brother Johnny are the ones that came up with the idea to open this store. Our great little shop on Main Street in Hayward first opened its doors in 2001. Sophie is known for greeting customers graciously in her trademark triple strand of pearls. Johnny is quite the gentleman, too! He will eagerly model any attire or work the crowd demonstrating one of our many carry cases or pet travel carriers.

I'm their mom, Jan. They let me run the shop and I pride myself on offering unique, elegant, fun and funky pet accessories and extravagant and delightful desserts for your pet.

We're not just in the business of pampering pets,
we like to spoil people as well!

Welcome to Splendid Things! We're a small and delightful women's boutique tucked in the back of Sophie's Dog Bakery. Who would think that such indulgences could be found on Main Street in Hayward?
